Much good information. Number one thing to do is clean evap, and con, units. Try to get a light in there to see through them. They can look clean but be clogged in the middle. This is inexpensive. Requires minimal tools and much attention to detail. $1000 in tools won't fix a clogged system. It is ususally really quite simple. Don't be intimidated.
