West-central Illinois | Great info on both posts. I have absolutely no experience fixing a/c equipment, but as often as they seem to quit working around here, I think it would be worth getting up to speed as to how all of this stuff works. I didn't check the pressure with the a/c off. I will do that tomorrow. But it also sounds like it would be beneficial to invest in some better equipment. What I have is only a low side (apparently) hose and it has a guage on it that then goes into a fitting that you screw your can of refrigerant to. Like I said a very low cost system. I will search for some equipment on the net tonight. Is there a good link to explain how an a/c system works? That would probably be helpful. Thanks | |
