I have had population erractic of what your speaking of....running a DB 44. OIL your chains or replace them. I oil my chains everyday after the first hour of two of use and my monitor runs much smoother. Its amazing what a little oil on those chains and make sure they are snug does. I would recommend that you replace your chains every year depending on the acres you cover.
