As to the population reading being erratic, or just plain wrong, I had a tech riding with me the other day that has been working on the two planters Jim posted pictures of over the the crop forum the other night and he said that the 20/20 monitor in the one planter showed the population being much smoother and more correct while the Deere display showed it to be eratic and many times lower or higher than target. He chalked it up to the crap software Deere has been written for the Seedstar display.
