I agree with others if your on a tight budget the old JD 7000 are an excellent planter. You can do all lot of the repairs yourself and Shoup is a good place to get parts for them. I had a 7000 for a lot of years before switching to a Kinze.

Don't be afraid to post on here what to look for depending on what planter you decide to go with. You will get good help on here as I'm sure you're awhere of. Good luck.
