Yes, they are. 7200 is a heavier planter overall than a 7000-larger shafts, bearings, and transmission has more options. For what he is describing I would avoid the vac-which most 7200's are here. Not saying vac isn't better but finger pickup is simple and cheap-pull and go and not worry about tractor hydraulics volume, etc.

As far as the parallel arms specifically they can wear out on either one-you can buy shim kits for either.
