I searched the article, in vain, for the technological breakthrough that makes their reactor ready for deployment. The large toroidal designs are still struggling to achieve the next break-even level (there are several). Fusion energy is a promising field -- promising virtually unlimited cheap energy thirty years from now for the last sixty years. I hope this group has found the secret that has eluded so many before.
