We concentrate on cows and heifers. Its a whole different mindset to raise bull calves and steer. Corn basis is much too high here to finish them anywhere. Cheaper to ship as young calves further east to the large feedlots.

We use hospital milk for our heifer calves and never have enough. Can't imagine buying milk replacer for bull calves
