Wish we had some forage like that around here. That is a great looking mix. Your cattle should do well on it and some of these big boys would turn a flip in 30-45 days.

In past years, seems we can put together a fair number of these bulls in the fall at decent prices but both supply and margins really dwindle after first of year. The good thing is there is always some size of calves that are underpriced compared to others, the trick is just figuring out what size it is. I guess that is what keeps it interesting. Just have to keep a close eye on the margins as declining margins has killed my bred cow deal for the time being. Seems everyone wants to buy more cows around here, so even if she only has 1 good eye, 2 good teats, and 3 good legs somebody will pay an arm and leg for her.

Oh well, this too shall pass.
