Subject: RE: bicycles

Its a darn shame Rich, couple years ago my shed was so full of kids perfectly good bikes. I tried to GIVE them to needy kids. Some where VERY good mountain bikes and real durable. I ended up GIVING them to a bicycle shop who said they fixed minor probs and gave them to kids. I didnt have the heart to go inside but would NOT be surprised to see price tags on good used models. They may have been faking the deal to make money on there own. I dont know, I dont care, allI can say is my yard and shed is now more passable due to better clearance from ancient bikes. And lo if any grandkids would ever ride them. EVERY kid these days has to have a brand new bike every year, didnt ya know??? Those bikes you describe as not durable are made for 100% concrete townie kids who do get a new one every year!!!

IF you would have raised your hand back when, your shed would then be full and mine much more empty!!! Darn the luck, good bikes for free, cant beat that!!
