One thing that brings a smile to my face is when I use to feed calves and at that time we used milk replacer. When I would open a new bag and dump it in the bin, my daughter would open the lid and stick her head in and just sniff it and say ahhhhh. She loved it.

Concerning the milk replacer. I was loading corn out of a bin just yesterday at my brother's place. My nephew has some small calves in individual huts next to the bin. Maybe the milk replacer in the bag smells good but I can attest to the fact that it doesn't smell good after it has gone through the calf. It about rolled my stomach.

There are lots of bad smells around the place but I think that is the worst. Another really bad combination was when juice from fermenting sweet corn silage was drained into a hog pit. The resulting combination of hog manure laced with the sweet corn silage juice was really bad also.
