Not the same thing, I know, but I'll share a statistic on whirlpool tubs in bathrooms. The average number of uses is 7. Not 7 per month, not 7 per year, but 7 times- total. They take a long time to fill, a long time to heat up, and are a pain in the neck to clean and maintain.

So before you invest a significant chunk of money (you'll be wanting all those 'upgrades' won't you?) make darn certain you are the folks who pull that average up.
