Sometimes, the older farmers/landlords will be more than happy to rent to a young guy just starting out as opposed to a BTO. It's good advice to ask the older landlords. Of course if you rent a few farms away from the current farmers, you may want to keep your head on a swivel..........and your machinery guarded.
