Subject: RE: Asking to farm new ground

I have seen a guy drive 20miles to farm a wet wet wet what's left over of a crappy 40. All the landlords like the big shots that get it done in a day and have the big checkbook and if you do get it some bigshot has it on the radar for next year not to be a pessimist just the way it is. The only thing that might help is all the rent up front the big shots do it to half the rent for 8months sounds like a lot but figure it out like 12 dollars on 300 rent lot worse ways you could spend it . All you can do is go to them personally and say if you are ever interested in rent it out let me know. You might want to think of a way that they will rent it to you 20 bucks cheaper . You can do a lot of things to kiss as s but money talks loudest .I have heard and seen renters do a lot of crap to a land owner and they come back for more. Been that way for years only will get worse especially if rents go down.
