Also a 'living history ranch' next to LBJ's ranch (actually part of it) depicting life in early TX.  Luchenbach not far from there(not much to see other than to say you've been there), and just a little farther is Fredricksberg, home of Pacific War Museum.  Would take a LONG day to see it all.  Also a wildflower farm there, kinda tourist trap feeling but still pretty neat.
