Yes. The cows rotationally graze the permanent grass all around the outside of the hay area of this 40. Other sections of this perimeter grazing lane are shown in my pictures in the original post above.

This gives them access to the waterer and shade/woods. I can open up access to any section of the hay strips to graze from this outside ring of grass if hay or grazing needs change.
