Driftless SW Wisconsin

Yes I like the NH Procart 1022 wheel rake. This is the 10 wheel version and it fits just right with two passes from the JD 630.

I don't have experience with any other rakes but bought this one on the suggestion of a dealer and salesman I trust and he was right. Simple but with the ability to set it as I want it. Wheels float independently of each other which is important in my uneven ground.

I've considered adding the optional center wheel for when I happen to be over a windrow but with tedding the center wheel is probably not necessary.

My neighbor has a Kuhn rotary rake which seems to work well. Maybe a rotary exposes more of the hay while making the final windrow. But for my needs I like the cost and simplicity of this wheel rake.
