Tablerock Ranch eastern Wa
Matt we have two circles leased out on our ranch for bluegrass seed production, about four hundred acres, they will swath it first of july wait two weeks then run it through the combine, after the seed is off they windrow and bale the straw, "they call it hay" makes 2 ton to the acre most often, hay is high out here, last year the bluegrass went for $110 to $120 with alfalfa @$200 the best part was turning the cow herd in August and calving on golf course like conditions, cows loved it and did well on it till he asked us to get off around thanksgiving.
