Subject: RE: more info

Toronto, South Dakota
We hand feed ours for one day only. After the first feeding they go into a pen with hanging pails, in this pen there is atleast one lamb that knows how to drink from it and that one trains the new ones. A week in that pen then to another pen with a milk machine.

We vaccinate them immediately. The pail is always cold milk, never warm and its kept full at all times. Don't like them to run out then feel the need to gorge when its filled again.
Creep, bicarb, and water are also in the pen from the start.

Used to feed with bottles for 3 days before going on pails. Now its straight to the pails and life is a lot easier!

Good luck!
