You can't export unrefined US crude.

But Canadian crude through the pipeline would be in good export position.

Now, no US farmer wants us Canadians to drop a couple hundred more million bushels on your market.

US oil guys are no different. If that durned pipeline can be built, that Canadian crude can just be ex-laxed through the system and business as usual in the lower 48. As long as you have that oil on rail it can go anywhere and maybe some of the independents don't have the self control the Koch's do to keep from ruining their price.

Big oil wants that pipeline badly, if the Repubs had won in '12 it would already be pumping Canadian Crude to China.
