WC MN | Maybe it's easier under pivots, but here we have had corn yields from 80-200 BPA. Tell me how you can guarantee a profit as big as the rent is. There is competition everywhere, willing to do it for maybe $50/acre or even a loss.
Btw we have guys here willing to pay $250-$300 per acre for 130 BPA corn ground/35 BPA bean ground. Bet they are not netting the same as landowner.......come to think of it doubt they are netting anything.
