| Thanks for the maps, but it shows only the Malaysian radar coverage. My point was that Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand also have their own stations that should totally cover and even overlap that part of the Gulf of Thailand, it's not open sea, or that large, being 5 times smaller than the Gulf of Mexico, it's a gulf between Malaysia and the mainland that is bordered by land on almost every sides but south-east. Or don't these countries have any radar station? That would be even scarier.
If the plane changed route as the military radar reports, it would also have necessarily flown over Thailand: Unlike in the south, there is no open sea in the north side, since Thailand is attached to the mainland. | |
