I guess i'm just wondering, like everyone else no doubt, what percentage of supply drop is expected from all this.... i see your point that the price increase doesn't mean much if you don't have hogs to sell, but it's not one for one - ie, price is made at the margin. I've seen numbers all over the place on what the number of hogs lost is going to be. That's against a 50% + increase in price. Is the supply dropping by 50%? if not, some people are making money,, | |
