I wouldn't argue with the point you're trying to make but in areas where it's wet enough to sustain a shelter belt full of trees these kinds of dust storms probably don't occur too often anyway. Around here pretty much every tree that isn't in someone's yard is dead or dying after the last 3 years of drought.
Anybody have pics of today's southern plains dust storm?
