West Salem, Illinois | What type of outside hog waterer works best in the winter? I need something that won't take up a lot of space for just a couple head per pen. I would like to have something like a pvc tube waterer like we use at the fair but I can't think of a way to keep the water in the tube from freezing. I thought about a bucket heater but I'm worried if/when it goes empty that it could burn a hole in the side and possible start a fire. Any and all suggestions are welcome and appreciated. | |
