Beresford, SD | If it is a true pop-eye......Take a scalpel and lance it open now. (flies will be here before you know it) A mucousy discharge will come out of the eye and it should be dried up before fly season. When you lance it open pinch the eye like a zit and cut the eye open between your fingers. Done a few of them over the years. Your not raising show cattle, see what kind a calf she weans off and decide weather to keep her or not this fall.
