north west arkansas | I don't know why but cows love to calve on pond and creek banks for some reason. We had one calve a week ago and the calf fell in the pond but thankfully my son saw it happen and was able to get it out. I lost a big calf this year in a pond and only thing I can figure is he fell thru the ice. I can tell you from experience cows in a pond and lightning don't end to well either. | |
