perryton, tx | Has anybody besides me ever had new calves turn up drowned in their pond? We lost one in each of 2 separate years back around 2009-11. I had sort of forgotten about it until today when I saw a cow leading her 1 day old calf right across the middle of our pond. I immediately prepared to go in after the calf if it faltered but it somehow made it across despite being in up to it's neck. | |
