Thanks Scott. Papaw is right on I think. Will iget $2100 back on this 30 acres...especially if I have 20 acres of grass we can use..we harrowed up a grass field last year that was full of briars and smut grass. Somebody planted brown top on it and never harvested it. It had a lot of Bermuda Bahia in the fall. We disced it again and it was still pretty turfy. Then drilled rye. I may have a good enough stand of Bermuda and Bahia to supplement what I need if it grows back again and i think it will. Guess I will check it out when we get it grazed down.

This place is too wet for peanut and I don't want to get into beans or cotton on small scale. Plus I need to learn what to do next year if we scale back the peanut business.
