Saronville NE | I almost always cut the dryland west of my house for silage, no matter if its good corn or burned up corn, last year was one of the 2 times since I bought where I live we haven't cut it, I had enuff from somewhere else. I can always cut irr corn if I want too, but was hoping not too this year, but if corn gets cheap enuff, might be farther ahead to do that.
Im not looking to do the $3 a day deal, I cant believe he found somebody that will pay that, but I want to make money over the top of the feed, I don't want to just sell feed if I do it, Id rather feed more calves, but don't know where I will get any that will make money, I cant buy them at big barns out west and make anything, so going to have to find somewhere to find some, cause the local little barns, don't have jack in late spring and summer, heck yesterday our 1 local barn only had 26 hd of feeders, the runs are over at the little barns already. | |
