Subject: feeding 4 H steers

Central Ohio
Feeding 3 4 h steers for a late Aug. fair . Right now we are grinding 450-500 pounds of earcorn, 100 pounds of 32% supplement and 25 pounds of dry molasses. The steers weigh around 700-750 pounds. They are eating about 60# of feed 2 times a day. free choice grass hay. 2 of them are pure shorthorn and one is shorthorn cross. The grinder screen is an 1/2" . They don't look like they are putting the weight on. Any ideas ?
