So the monitor is only for square bales? We don't have much for squares here, mostly round balers. You comments out the acreage are valid as we have the same problem with combine data from crops that were windrowed as the acreage is only as accurate as the guy who ran the swather!! Having said that, auto-steering on swathers is really catching on here so getting a consistent cut width is much easier. We even have a few customers that are cutting with auto-steering and then baling with it too so raking wouldn't be much of a stretch.

I've said for years that someone should put a set of load sensors on a round baler so that at the very least you could weigh the bale before kicking it out. Tying GPS in to calculate the acres shouldn't be that hard. But as always, time, money and the will to do it.
