Dalton, OH | They've had them advertised for about a year, but I haven't met anyone running one to hear how they perform. I do know that you have to enter a bale weight to make things work, so its only as good as the operators knowledge. As far as the rest of the system, its really not much different than the current automatic applicator they have. They just tied the tons per hour measure with GPS and can now have a tons per ac number. I did ask them if you needed a second monitor to run the auto applicator and the yield monitor and they said yes. I would assume you also need a second set of star wheels too. I am axious to hear from other people who have run them.
