I told everyone to sell grain before we went over the cliff. Where did I steer them wrong? If I was only looking out for my own interest, would I not have just shorted the basis, got the grain on DP and patted everyone's back saying "we are gonna run out! Hold til you see the whites of there eyes"? I have no idea why you can't get your head around how basis traders can buy $7.50 cash from growers and sell it to Ray for $6.00. We are the only business I can think of that can buy high and sell low, but its how we roll. We don't care what the flat price is. You can believe what you want and call BS on what ever you want, but if you go back and look Ray and I gave you all the road map to how the inversion would die. The fact of the matter is sometimes I might just as well be talking to the side of my bin. Now is kinda one those times.....
