Ontario's middle east | Well at least in a friendly Canadian sorta way....lol. Here is your market. When did the basis not follow the spreads? Take a minute to understand why we chart those, like that. The distance between the option months is the spread at the roll. This allows you to compare apples to apples. It can be almost impossible to track adjusted basis without doing this. For instance, with big inversions you can get the situation where basis is a big number +100 n but when you go back and look you say crap, I could of sold 150 n equivalent earlier vs a higher futures month.
