SD/ND/FL | I think basis is going to collapse this summer when farmers sell en masse, especially if commercials are "long-the-basis" and start to unwind. I predict $-1.00 under Sep at Cargill in Wahpeton, ND.
Obviously nothing is a certainty, but am I missing something?
I should note that E ND has had a TERRIBLE basis the past few months due to the BNSF situation leaving more commercial corn local (vs exporting) than what wold happen in a normal year.
