SC Iowa | Couple of things I see coming out of all of this..
1) will be a move for folks to add more storage capacity on farm or at their homes, especially if they have smaller tanks
2) will be a rush for summer gas fills..
net result for #1 and #2.......the "inverse" will last longer than expected
now, if the politicians get involved, throw out anything I just said...
the job of the "market" in situations like this is to change the thinking from a "got to have it now at any cost hoarding mentality" to a "live on lower than normal inventory and stretch the supply mentality"
good communication between buyer and seller a must if you are in a critical situation....
E718......I noticed a reference in WSJ article about the NG "widowmaker" spread, which is the March/April......some folks hurt badly on the recent move, lead by the front month NG contracts.... | |
