Not sure when they rented it, but we forward contracted enough to cover all our cash rent ground in the first 6 months of last year. Now have it all covered for under a dime a bushel with calls in case the price goes back up. I imagine anyone whos renting that amount of acres is pretty well covered on the price. Now we just need to raise a crop. If we don't raise a crop hopefully the insurance price would rise. I'd say you can cut there seed and fert cost by at least 40% and I don't imagine they added equipment to farm it at that rate.
