| Certainly the media and those that get a microphone talk this way, but I really wonder if 'joe 6 pack' (or 'pat 6 pack') really are on board with this program. Note that the whole gun ownership issue would have folks believing only strange folks own guns, but once regulation rears it's ugly head, seems like just about everyone turns out owning a gun (including the media types).
Meat is expensive and as a culture we've definitely moved towards snacks as the main course because we are too busy to sit down to eat. I wouldn't say it's a move towards the left (though chips could be considered vegetarian), more just a move to being a little lazy about stuff that's important. | |
