Subject: RE: Eating less meat is not eating healthier

Duh duh duh.... the problem is chips, pop and other junkfood. Last time I checked obesity was our largest health problem and it's not from kids sitting around eating steaks and roasts. We could be eating healthier but that's about cutting out a 2L bottle of pop/day and nothing to do with meat.

As far as per capita consumption, it's all about cost!!! Down economy, meat prices going up and the result is less consumption. This isn't rocket science and poles of the sort mentioned have the answers pretty much done before the survey is taken ie. how do you answer 'so when did you stop beating your wife?' - only a day/time fits in the answer box and they get results they want. Happens all the time.

back to Garvo's comment - he is probably right. I don't like it, but the market doesn't care how I feel about it. Though I do think the market watches my sales to determine the start of a rally. Just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean someone isn't out to get me.
