Labor-sugar prices, almost totally unrelated. To be honest, it's my feeling that management saw the sugar glut coming down the pipe and realized that it was time to trim some fat. Also saw rising (soon to be skyrocketing?) healthcare costs and decided to act.
You're dead on about everything else. You sign a contract....... well..... lets just say, the RRV is finding out who actually takes pride in their name, and who's willing to slap it on anything willy-nilly.
The stock deal right now is kinda.... I donno. That bid for 1k shares at 1 grand is suspect to me. I hate to say it, but I feel like it's a "placeholder" bid, and when trading starts to get near it, it'll evaporate too. Course, I been wrong before.... |
