Subject: Sugar Round 2

Buxton ND
Here a copy and paste from a thread below.
My comment "PLUS A MILLION."

Personally, and no offense to anyone on here. But if your a beet farmer and paying 700 an acre for rent, and took that land away from some sto... We'll to bad! Pay the rent! You signed that contract, and now losing your butt! I find it rather comical. I have absolutely zero sympathy, and no problem saying it either. It's not my fault or my neighbors fault that YOU decided to rent some land and offer an ungodly amount of money and your costs are thru the roof, and the sugar companies say we don't need anymore of your beets. Welcome to a free market society boys!

Late 80's very early 90's stock could be bought in the $500 range, last year 4kish,8 fold increase in a little over 20 years. I know many that re-tired and kept the stock as part of their retirement plan. Things have changed in a very quick way.......................

Sugar price started tanking in 2011,,,NOT 2012,,,even as stock price soared to over 4k AFTER #16 US sugar had dropped in half by October of 2012............. Then by this spring one BTO grower/s said "No one told us the price of sugar was falling" I wont say any names but it rhymes "Bong"

Sugar price started tanked just after ACS locked out the "Union" I've wondered if ACS ticked off the Union just a tad TOO MUCH.

Now to me,NO farm bill,NO sugar program and NO takers on my offer to buy some shares for $1000...My deadline is Nov 15th,as those absent land owners are running scared. My next offer will be in the $500-750 range with a deadline of Mid Decemberish. Other then that I will wait it out til spring...................................Maybe longer and let the landlords sweat it out ! ! !
