but it hasn't turned out the way I expected.....I crafted the advertising plan a month ago when we thought we would not see early harvest until Sept 20-25.......the heat spell changed everything
last Friday we had 6 new crop trucks, Monday was 50, yesterday was 118, and today we will unload 140+ trucks of new crop corn
so, our bid has gotten very soft, and it doesn't make economic sense to bring corn this far north....but it sure could have if we had not brought our crops forward a couple of weeks...
we had a lot of calls, and even renewed an acquaintence with a 75+ year old guy we did biz with back in '96
