Macon, IL
Jim, same post here-replace wife with Dad.

Started out with 2 straight gas truck, glad to see them leave!!! Skip the wagons and skip the gas truck phase. Bin is really nice-but not a cureall. Last year we had so much aflatoxin didn't put a bushel in nice shiney new bin. This year with drying should be pretty nice. Also if haulign distance to bin may be just as easy or easier to go to remote elevator-is for us.

Will say going from straight truck to tandem helped a lot-a whole lot-but adding a couple hundred acres last few years am asking same question again. Tandem and 1 straight truck got us to 500 acres with no problems-but getting crew of 3 doesn't always happen and if you run grain cart reduces capacity a lot to let it sit or be down 1 truck.
