Mid Michigan | In central michigan the guage said 5 tenths when I left for work and said 2 1/2 inches when I got home. I was shocked another two inches fell today. The bullseye must have passed over us. Another farm I check two miles to the west of us had 1 1/2 inches. This was the first real decent rain since we planted anything. Our crops look pretty rough from a poor start. I'm just hoping to pay for the seed and inputs we put into things this year. Not going to be any new purchases around here that's for sure! We were very fortunate to catch this rain. Everything including the trees were really stressing out. My yard looks like fall with all the tree leaves. | |
