Eastern ND | Just telling the reality of the current situation. NO subsoil moisture usually puts us (Tara not included) in a situation where We will NEED timely rains. Just look at this year. USDA, Tara and others were touting big acres and big yields last winter. Now that We have missed the timely rains, how is that prediction lookin'? Current conditions look to be a continuation from last year, with the exception of May '13, We have been VERY short of rain for a year now. I guess that subsoil moisture doesn't matter. It's different this time. | |
