I wouldn't consider not being able to plant corn for 2 months as a lot of the cornbelt experienced this spring a flash flood. A lot of subsoil was replenished I know ours was or we wouldn't have been able to go 5 weeks without rain and still have a good corn crop. Its a waste of time to worry about next years crop now.
