Although I agree with the sympathy part, I bet most speculators would love to have the backstop of insurance. Try making a living speculating.
Exactly , I was at my Optometrist last night and he is a young guy who always asks about farming and he never bashed farmers but could not understand why he could not milk cows or be in the feather industry with out owning "quota" .......... his next ? was "can the big greenhouse operations get farm support payments too " -yes but capped at around $3 mil per farm ........ as farmers we in NA have some pretty good ,lucrative programs.........raining here this morning so that will finish the crop,been blessed with lots of rain.....greenhouse industry always did good here when Ca. and Fl. had weather issues
