Saronville NE | I quit ralgro last year and used Revalor XS on Heifers in a backgrounding ration, when they left here they had avg'd 3.1 gain. I don't like having to get cattle in and reimplant every 60 days, I think Revalor is 180 but maybe 120 I cant remember now without looking at the box, last year was first time using it.
I also agree the 7 and 8 weight cattle are a better buy right now, have bought a couple pens of 750lb steers last couple weeks, they will lock a profit in, where the lightweight cattle are more risky right now. I may be feeding out this year vs backgrounding if the 5 weights stay this high. | |
