Down here in SE Texas prior to harvest we were cleaning bins to keep feed mills running.  We started shelling about 2 weeks early and that saved us, if it had been a 'normal' start date there would have been mills having to use milo, (which is harvested south of us in June).  Now I'm hearing of the Delta barging corn up river to keep the ethanol plants running, hence the big positive basis.
